Isabel Napper, the founder of GreyWired, has been a lawyer for 30 years. Starting her career at Lovells (now Hogan Lovells) after a Masters degree in Law from UCL, she has specialised in intellectual property throughout her career. After Lovells, Isabel joined an IP boutique firm and then moved to Cambridge where she became a partner at national law firm Mills & Reeve and Head of the Technology Sector there.
Looking for new challenges after a life in the law, Isabel set up GreyWired to meet the demand for practical advice from a seasoned practioner – advice which helps law firms and similar businesses on their path to business growth and client retention.
Isabel has been heavily involved in business development throughout her career, chalking up notable successes and winning clients which have become some of the largest and most profitable at the firms where she practised, She has also built up highly successful IP practices from scratch.
Isabel is supported by a team of similar professionals who have been partners in law firms or have comparable senior executive experience at director level. The GreyWired team can therefore assist with the wide range of issues that a modern professional services business faces.
Isabel is a non executive director of Health Enterprise East Ltd and is a member of the Lord Chancellor's Advisory Committee for Cambridgeshire.
